There was a wonderful turnout for the eighth edition of the Wik Memorial Triathlon on Sunday, 15th March.

Our fresh-faced Grade 8 students embarked on a three-day hike through the Magoebaskloof mountains this month.

Three Stanford Lake College teams completed the 2019 edition of the South African Schools Adventure Racing Championships.

During their solo experience, the Grade 9 students completed a reflection exercise.

The Grade 8 learners embarked on their 8-day “Twin Peaks” trek. The expedition ahead seemed almost impossible.

The hardships that you are put through on trek, bring the whole grade much closer as a unit, it brings a sense of unity and camaraderie.

That night, the young adventurers enjoyed swopping stories around the fire whilst taking turns on stag (camp watch).
