A total of 12 Stanfordians took part in the Tour de Lake XCO last weekend, the second race this year of the Limpopo Schools Mountain Bike League! Our riders produced some fantastic results. In the Sub-Junior categories, Gordon Noel took a first place and Nicholas Boyum took fifth, whilst Isabella Dando came second among the girls. Four boys competed in the Youth Boys category with the following positions: Kian Noné (7th), Tristan Brett (10th), Finn Straughan (13th) and Lungile Sithole-Wiltshire (14th). Among the Youth Boys, Herman finished in the top spot with Stefan Hacker in fifth, Benno Kotzé in sixth and Michael Scriven in tenth. Heidi Katzke raced among the Youth Girls and managed a podium spot of second place. Well done to all the riders, who raced with great determination in the blazing heat.
