The inter-house swimming gala took place on Wednesday and the learners flooded the HPC in their house colours to represent, and to cheer from the sidelines. The HPC came alive with chants and song, each house vying for the Spirit trophy.
In the pool, we saw some competitive swimming take place with our usual aquatic stars such as Luca Wasley and Anika Schimdt performing fantastically. It was also great to see some top talent coming through from the current Grade 8’s, with the likes of Pearson Mumba and Olivia Drewett being crowned as the Junior Victor Ludorum and Junior Victrix Ludorum respectively.
The fiery red team in the corner of the HPC, Loomis, were awarded the Spirit Trophy with their Heads of Houses, Ledile Kgopong and Zola Nkambule leading the chants. The winning house came as a surprise to all, when Loomis were crowned the champs of the day.
